Okay, I know how to hold the crank pulley. I use the chain wrench method and it works fine on my car. When I do my buddy's car, the bolt doesn't budge at all. (It's never been off, EVER!) His water pump leaks so we need to get it done.

We only have hand tools. But a 500lb impact will do it? Okay, I can proabably get the bolt loose at a shop then...
