Sure Japanese cars tend to beless expensive than their German counterparts with similar power levels. However I would not consider sedans such as the CTS-V and M5 to be competition with the NSX. There's also the fact that the current NSX is already more expensive than the 911 Carerra even though it's short 28 hp. Honda hasn't bothered to make the NSX competitive in terms of horsepower for a long time and I'm not convinced they really give a shit about doing it with the new car. There are other things that go into it for the price. If people want something that offers competitve performance with higher-priced cars then they get a 350Z, WRX STi or EVO.
