Those of you guys who want to install it on the windshield and need a power source, have you considered using the moonroof power source? I'm not sure where the motor is located but that's a possibility. Other than that, if you're using a V1, just run a phone cord from the center console up the pillar and across the top of the windshield to the V1. A phone cord can be easily pushed between the panel lines of your dash to make it a clean install. If you're using a phone cord though, make sure it's 4 wire one and not a 2 wire just in case you want to later connect a remote display. The remote display won't work if it's not the right phone cord.
