Let me give you all a heads up, if someone is hesitant about anything that involves "long term" plans, it is usually for a reason. Whether it is big such as moving in togehter, or smaller, like planning a weekend away. Not to sound like a jackass, but if she is changing her mind, knowing that you would help pay for it to save her money, she is having doubts.

Is she going to be a college freshman? How far away is the campus? Are you in school right now?
