no, the rod is just back too far. i'm not sure if it was like that when it was on the car to begin with, but i took it off for my swap and then when i put it back on i had a hell of a time getting it to bolt to the control arm because the holes were too far back. when unbolted, the rod will wiggle around side to side, but not front to back. could bad bushings make the rod be pushed back? the guy that aligned it said if he adjusted it foward it would mess up something, i forget (possibly the toe).
