you are retarded. you obvioulsy dont understand the concept of a CAI so let me explain it to you. you have this thing under you hood called an engine. its the thing that makes power. underhood temperatures can get pretty hot. the engine needs air in order to work. hot air is less dense than cold air. the more dense the air is that goes into your engine the more power you can make. so a short ram is fine and dandy, although the part that lets in the air is right by this "engine". by moving the air induction part away from the hot engine, the air going into the engine will be much colder, ergo denser air, visa vi creating more power. im pretty sure a CAI will make more power than a short ram, and some even more than that depending on the design. 
yea, you really need that dense cold air to free flow to the massive 1.6 liter 4 cylinder...
