Are you experiencing these problems? Are you sure the current wires are OEM? You could be experiencing EMI, or Electro Magnetic Interference. Some "aftermarket" brands aren't wrapped correctly or use low-quality insulation to ensure adequate protection from other electromagnetic fields in your vehicle. The wires can become corroded and allow the core to be exposed, which in turn allows part or all of the charge to escape. This would either cause your plug to fire a spark below combustion temp or not fire at all. Your engine can misfire or run rough, and you will get poor gas mileage, even worse performance, and increased emissions.
I'd replace your wires with a quality brand or OEM. If I'm correct, NGK is the OEM supplier of spark plugs for Honda engines, so they may serve the same role for wires as well.
