Thread jacking is common these days, but I tolerate it. I'll have the car towed to the shop some time next week, and I'll check it for sure. For the record, it's a '93 GS. 1.8L, DOHC. The owner told me it was a B18B1, and he's a friend of mine, but that doesn't necessarily mean he knew what he was talking about. There seems to be a huge grey area and a lot of conflicting info about this car everywhere. That's why I asked about it, I was sure it would start a debate.
I just hope I can put it in my hatch without having to spend $500 on mounts. My civic has solid shift linkage. Couldn't I just mount the cable shifter in place of my civic shifter? That shouldn't be that hard to do should it? I don't see why that wouldn't work if I have a donor car. I have a TIG welder at the shop.
Yup. You DO. (for now :snicker: ) That's damn impressive, really. Your car is fast as hell.
That's going to look incredible in your engine bay if you can squeeze it in somewhere. It isn't small. Have you pulled your evaporative emissions crap yet? There's room there for it if you haven't
Right around where the charcoal canister "used to be".
Which cars? The DSMs? or the Civic? or the Integra?
I don't have pics of the Integra yet. I have pictures of the Honda, but they're nothing to brag about. I posted one in someone's thread once, and it killed the thread. That's okay, that thread needed to die. When the Integra gets to the shop next week, I'll get pics of it.
I have tons of pics of my DSMs. The GS was murdered in '01, but the GSX lives on... well... sort of. It's in a thousand pieces right now, but for its own good. Here's a pic of them side-by-side. If you want to see more of them, say so. I don't know how well received DSMs are in a Honda-Acura forum. Before the GS died, I swapped a bunch of parts off of it to make the GSX look sleepy. I hated the 95-96 OEM 16" wheels on the turbo models. I like the GS wheels a lot better.
The teeth in those images is killiing me hahaha!!
Nice man, they look good. Too bad for the one, but you got to keep the GSX at least
I'd help you install that motor if I lived closer....
