Other than the OBD issues, is putting a F23 in my car going to be a big deal? What ECU would I use, I dont think I can use a F23 ECU cause of the immobilizer. Can I use my current ECU?
Everything else should be the same, correct? Both my CV shafts are almost brand new, so I dont wanna have to buy different ones.
The worst part of this whole situation, is my car only has 95,000 miles on it!!
did you tear into your old engine to see what was the matter?
Have you thought about rebuilding your old engine with new rings and such, do you know what parts have failed?
A DIY engine rebuild could be as cheap as a few hundred bucks.
The F23 will be a pain to wire in, for 5hp, just find a good low milage version of your exact engine if you are going to swap for another F-series.
