What I'm about to describe is NOT the best fix, but it works and is dirt cheap.

I had the same problem with my Civic--just the mirror glass cracked and housing okay. I traced the shape of the glass part on a piece of paper, bought auto-grade mirror glass, took it to a shop and had it cut in the exact shape of the mirror, then double-side stuck it to the cracked one. Very, VERY easy fix.
