A VW? How could you?
You can make that work for cheaper than you can get a B18B swap for around here.
Yeah, he can part out the rest of the car and basically get the engine for free plus a few bucks. All said and done, it probably would end up a couple hundred cheaper.

The mounting system in the G2 Integra is pretty much the same. Whatever doesn't work you can replace with 94-01 Integra mounts or some of your stock mounts, depending on location.

You're not quite understanding the difference between a cable and a hydrolic transaxle. The shifters are solid bars on all D and B series engines, so if you use a 94-01 Integra shift linkage, all is fine. Bolt it on and go. The difference is in the clutch system, pre-94 Integras and pre-92 Civics use a cable to engage/disengage the clutch. 94+ Integras and 92+ Civics use a hydrolic system to do the same. They can be swapped, but it takes some special mounts that HASport makes.

http://www.hasport.com/store/EGB1.htm note the "cable transmission" kit, $225. It is availible seprately from the complete mount kit.
