I am just starting to get in to imports. I currently own a 76 Corvette that I just dropped 3k into the engine only to have it blow up on me after 2 miles ..... So now I am looking for a reliable run around car that looks clean. A guy I know is selling a 90 Integra for 2300 (I can probably talk him down a little bit). It has a few dings and is COMPLETELY stock. Is this a good deal? What should I look for when I am checking out Acura/Hondas? I have been looking around at wheels, intake, exhaust etc. and am wondering what is a reasonable figure for aftermarket stuff so I can get it looking nice without spending 10k (which I know is easy to do). Is there a difference in the different brands of Cold Air Intake? Like AEM, DC Sports, RS Akimo... I have noticed a HUGE price difference in brand name versus generic stuff so there must be a pretty big difference. I was looking at www.dragonwheels.com for rims. They seem to have VERY reasonable prices, and air dynamic racing for intake and exhaust stuff. Just looking for some suggestions or comments before I start dumping more green into something.
