Default calling all "winter driving" folk....

hi gang, fabs here..w.ell this is my second winter coming up that i'll be driving my 94 civic in. The first year was quite rough i found. Okay apart from having a partial mis-alignment in the tires, the car was sliding all over the place (mainly taking off from a dead stop). I also had days where there'd be maybe a foot of snow and the car was stuck! have any of you had this problem before? the winter tires i have are in okay shape..(i think they're michlins..not too sure...) i was thinking that it may also be does to the fact that these cars are very light? I remember i didn;t have this problem with my eagle talon...(mmmm how i miss that car!!) even though it was lower to the ground and fwd! any thought on this matter would be appreciated.thanks
