thanks guys. but its way too big for me to store on my phone. the wav file was 40mb. i have a 128mb mmc card for my phone but sending it to my phone, it puts the file in the phone memory which is only 3.8mb 
exactly why i was wondering, as i stated above why you'd be using a wav file as a ringtone
