Just got a 96 civic 192k miles, manual, for 2,300. Engine sounds good (always severiced by honda) , but tranny whines, not too loud but whines enough that i take notice when not listening to music (especially 1st and 2nd gear). What does this whining mean, and is it ok to drive w/ this whining and never both to fix it? I heard its some bearing but i dont want to spend $$ to fix it, if it isn't absolutely nececssary.
