but usually my boy is in the garage with me so when i do axle replacements on customer cars,..i usually just have him pop the axle into place,..he just shoves that bastard till it clicks,..6'3 pushing 300 pounds,..having friends like that usually has some advantages h:
Now there's some intelligent responce's.... you really don't want to be hammering your axle in and you definitely don't want to "just beat the shit out of it" like sleepr does. :down:

you can usually just get it in by doing the slide hammer motion with your bare hands and bruit strength(some jerky shoves) or do the knuckle trick if you can't muster the strength. :thumbup:
