you make some good points south...i've thought about all of that, im still making my decision....i really want that AV6 engine tho, because that's 240hp right out of the box...the V2 intake makes an extra 18 horses, add an exhaust and a few other simple mods, and im at 300hp just like that. It would take alot more work to get that H22 to my goal of 300hp...i've still got a while before i make my decision tho...i like the way the H22 looks better tho haha, but man...that new AV6...have u driven one yet? lol i want that engine...but we'll see how it turns out..next comes my kit, paint, seats, intake and pulleys, then i'll start saving for the engine and i'll see when the time comes...if u guys got any suggestions for me i appreciate them...as long as you know the difference between suggestions and hating...and as for the 50 bucks, get ready to lose your $$$$, in about a year or so, when i have the money to build the engine and swap it
Sorry man. Your thinking of whole different motor. Since you have a 2002. The AV6 motor your thinking of has 200hp at FLYWHEEL. Meaning thats not too the wheels. As in that I mean when you floor it your only getting like 150hp. The motor your thinking of is the New 2003 AV6 motor that has 240hp. Swapping that into your car would not even be worth it. So much money involved and since the motor just came out it probably cost a bitch load just for that.
Also. The new AV6 motor that is labeled at 240hp at the flywheel with no weight. With the car's body and you in the seat it only makes 190hp to the wheels. AEM V2 does not add 18hp. I would be suprised if it added more then 5 but they claim a lot with that. So with the intake and exhaust you would only be at like 200 if you can gain that much. So not to bust your bubble or anything bro. Just letting you know how the weight to power thing works.
