GTR is setting for 2005~2006 production. I think Honda will need sometime to make adjustments. However, rumors or Nissan has stated that GTR is producing at least 400+HP and will be aimed at 911 Turbo territory. If Honda is staying with its 3.2L+V6 for the next 2nd generation NSX, unless it can offer brilliant all around performance together with ultra luxury, it will lose its appeal for customers in this supercar market. I believe if we don't see IMA in this generation, Honda will have surprises for us with this NSX. Maybe, what I can project from this point is 2nd generation NSX with updated/newly engine with great amount of luxury design and performance, perhaps an year or two, we will see IMA as an option.
