I'm not sure if you're swapping the motor but if so, most of this stuff, you should get with the motor if you buy from a reputable place. I did this conversion myself and it cost me about $75 for the pedal box assemblies(clutch, gas, brake) and the clutch master cylinder with the clutch hard lines from importautosalvage.com. You'll need to do some stuff to the sub harness that plugs into the automatics gear selector (plastic slider with a bunch of wires on it) to get your car to start, be able to take the key out of the ignition, get reverse lights to work, etc but it's not hard at all. If you have cruise and want to keep it make sure you get a gas pedal equiped for cruise... I didn't and ended up keeping my autos gas/brake assembly and just swapped the brake pedal since that's the only real difference.
I document everything I do with step by step pics so if you need to see the pics let me know. But basically you take the two wires from the park position (big black/red & black/white wires) and short them so that you will be able to start and remove keys. Then you take the wires from the reverse position (green/yellow & green I believe) that are on the center of the slider and run them to your reverse sensor wires on the tranny for reverse lights to work. I actually traced my reverse sensor wires from the tranny back to the fire wall and into the cab by the fuses and spliced my wires there. (you can find toning devices at home depot that make it really easy to trace wires. One devise goes at one end of the wires and sends a tone down the line then you use a wand at the other end to listen in on the wires and find which ones are carrying the tone) If you have cruise and want to keep it then you will need to find the pink cruise wire and short it with the black ground wire. For cruise you really should swap the actual cruise control box which is also by the fuses from an automatic version to a manual version... I didn't and it still works but it is a lil tricky... you actually have to disengage the cruise by turning it off with the button on the dash otherwise if you just push in the clutch which would normnally disengage it on a manual it just starts going rev crazy.
I think that's about it... it's not hard at all... it cost me about $75 and an hours worth of work once the motor was in. Now if you're keeping your motor and just swapping the tranny etc. it will be more work but still not hard and definitely WORTH EVERY BIT.

Please e-mail me the pictures It would be a lot of help I have a dx motor and auto tranny at the moment but I don't have the cash for the swap yet so in the meantime I would like to drive stick . Everyone is telling me to sell the car and get a stick I got my 95 civic coupe dx for $1000 with 40,000 miles now why would I wanna sell it and get something more expensive more miles and not as good as 40,000 ? Plus changing shit yourself and making it work is the greatest feeling in the world . Send me those pictures and anyother docs you have on it . Im happy I found someone who can help ! :thumbup:
