Bose is a higher than stock system with some bass. The issue is, is it worth all the trouble installing it into another car? I dont think so. For the same money and WAY less hassle, you'll end up with better sound (unless your tone deaf).

I dont know how this particular Bose system is set up, but most of the ones I've seen employ an amplified speaker configuration, that is, there is no central amplifier. This makes repair and upgrade next to impossible, meaning, if a speaker blows, you cant just buy a pair from Best Buy.

That said, I still think Bose car audio sucks!!!
The Bose systems used by acura use a central amplifier, with a shielded cable assembly that runs from the deck to the amp. In the RSX there is a second amp that is mounted with the sub, that powers just the sub.
