let's re-cap.

1) If you have a h22a, yes it's a stock engine but that's just like saying swapping in a 350 instead of a 305 is no difference.

2) If you are going to spend the money on CUSTOM (not popular) internals for a f22 and beef that up, why not spend the money on a swap and beef up those internals. A good turbo kit, not custom, is probably F-MAX and it willl probably run good 14's and that's just about what H22A's run. But have a good day

actually, your argument contradicts itself. the main difference between a chevy 305 and a 350 is displacement. the 350 has a higher displacement which results in more hp.

the F22 actually has a higher displacement than a h22. the H22 gets the extra hp from a more aggressive fuel curve and a higher compression ratio, not to mention being DOHC vice the SOHC F22.

i guess what i was trying to say earlier though is that if you want to boost, boost an F22. if you want to go NA. get an H22. the cast iron cylinder sleeves of the F22 play well with forged pistons in a turbo application. the composite sleeves of the H-series engines do not. not to mention that when running high boost on a DOHC engine, unless tuned properly, will result in blowby which is what happens when air/fuel is forced all the way through the cylinder without being ignited.
