i'm spending around the $4-5k range on just rebuilding my b16a2. personally, i think i'm being very unreasonable. i could get an LS VTEC for about $800 more. i could swap in a b18c1 and get similar power.

but i like my b16. there's just something about the sound and the hig rpms possible. i don't know.

i recommend the b18c1. it is a good starting point, has a lot more torque (isn't it like 30-something lbs-ft?). it's longer stroke is ideal for a high output 4-cylinder
