H22 Swap are very very very streetable. You just need higher spring rates in the front and if you really get into a rear sway bar... thats hardly major suspension work. basically its a good swap for anyone who doesn't autocross, but i know some guys who autocross their H22 Civics and don't have too much trouble.
H22 Swap installed equals about $4000 (thats for mounts, axles, swap, etc) talk to Newman on H-T, or Brian at HASport if you don't believe me...
plus, if you have a 6th Gen, H22 is completely bolt-in

I hardly think high performance springs and a rear sway bar are major suspension mods...
your criticizing your friend for hearing stuff on the 3rd hand, yet the only thing you know about this swap was heard 3rd handly. an so on and so forth.:thumbup:
I just think many of HAN's newer members post things without really researching it first, so if you don't know or have no experience you shouldn't post about that PARTICULAR subject matter.
