While most of this is true the cable trannies are getting hard to find in decent condition. The part that is not true is that not all B-series trannies are the same internally and so can not use the same parts. There is some interchangeability but it is not absolute.

As for puting a hydro tranny in a G2 the main part you need is an adapter that is sold by Hasport but at this time it is only avail as part of a complete kit to swap a hydro engine/tranny combo into civics. I have also heard that the hydro tranny in a G2 does not fit the front mount but it is ok to run without it.
