Does VTEC disengage and engage everytime you shift? I doubt that. Maybe it'll engage with the car going and the clutch in...

vtec will remain as long as the next gear hits over the engage point... if u shift slowly and the engine revs down just before the next gear (that will catch over the engage point) it will disengage then re-engage.. and slowest speed vtec will engage is yer first gear mph at the standard engage point... thats common sense :doh:
