Default So I got an alignment yesterday.

I put new axles in last weekend so I got my car aligned yesterday and they called me to tell me they could'nt get my front right side to exact specs due to some play in the inner and outer tie rod ends. They offered to fix them for $300.00 and I declined. The car feels ten times better now with the new toyos and the alignment but what does play in the inner and outer tie rodinds mean? Also I don't see an inner tie rod end. Do they mean the steering tie rod? I thought they either worked or did'nt, I don't see how they could "have play in them". I know nothing about suspension parts so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
