Hey I wrote alittle about this in another post and it was a bit sloppy (feel free not to remind me wharbone).

You can take the spedometer out of your civic and put it in the sir gauge cluster.
The only thing that will get in your way is that the sir gauge has higher knobs that the 3 screws come through on.
But if you have the sir gauge intact (all screws) you might be able to use them.
Otherwhise just trim down the knobs a bit.

The other problem which I have is different colors in your gauge cluster .so you can just go get yourself a white-face set and replace only the spedo.

The result is a 8200 redline and a very clean look..
