before/after pics would help...i just got rearended this summer too...and when i was asking around for quotes...my friend's dad's friend owns a body shop...and they do really good, reputable work, and they do all the work for a closeby Honda dealership...and he said that cars over 2 years old most of the time will get remanufactured body parts...and another guy i was talking with said that remanufactured doesn't really fit as well and the parts aren't perfectly OEM spec (in terms of dimensions, lil short here or there)...so that mite be what happened...but if u can show the guy pics of before/after and it really bugs u...u can prolly get a better job done

I think thats what may have happened here; they probably used remanufactured parts; but why would they do this? Why couldnt they just order me a rear OEM underbody piece for a 99?
I dont know if it really bugs me...it bugs me only because I KNOW originally you were not able to see the OEM tail pipes when looking at the car from the side; now you can. I dont know whether to look at this as a good or bad thing. It's like suddenly, the sideskirts in the rear were shortened somehow....the OEM ones were, well...kinda longer and hung lower....if that makes sense...what do you think I should do?
