Its possible that if you struts are blown, the upper a arm will smack the chassis right above it. if you open the hood of your car, you'll be able to see two dimples next to the strut tower mounts where the arm is hitting. If this is the case, I'd reccomend new struts (at the least) and even new springs. Those weapo r coilovers are pretty bad ..(speaking from experience)
Well he does have Koni Sport shocks so unless he totally beat them to hell they're probably fine. If they are blown and you still have your stock shocks laying around, I would say swap them in and send the Konis out to be re-built.
