actually, curb weight for the type S is 2767, so it's not really that much lighter than the prelude. I think the thing that makes a difference is torque. While the USDM K only has 10 less, it's where that torque kicks in that matters. Peak torque hits at 6 grand on the k, and it's, what, 5500 on the h22? Look, overall, it's not really "better" per se, and if there were reasons, they aren't great enough to even try swapping on into a prelude, but hey, you'd be famous if you did.
