No, unless they are shot peened first.
Main thing is wtf should i do with my head should i just rebuild my head with performance parts or i have also heard that i could benifit from a b16 head for more compresion and higher revs
The B16A PR3 head is only going to give around a .3 point boost in compression, so there is not significant difference. That choice is up to you, a B18A PR4 non-VTEC head can be built to perform just as well as a B16A PR3 VTEC head, however the PR3 will always be more reasonable at idle. The VTEC valvetrain is also a little stronger, however the non-VTEC head can still be used in a good performance build.
last thing before it blew up it had a messed up idle problem it would rev from about 1k to 2500 rpm at idle i was told it may be my IAC (idle air control) but i pulled about 3 off junk cars and they never worked PLZ HELP i hated that crap
I would also have said EACV/IAC, but I guess that's not the issue.
