I've taken that molding off many MANY times and I see no need to rip anything off my car when there's a 'correct' way to do it. If you took your car to the dealership to replace one of those moldings would you want them ripping them off? Probably not.

yes i would expect a dealer to do it the "right" way or whatever b/c i would be paying them. but i did it my self for free. if i would have taken out all of my interior pieces to do it "right" it would have taken an extra hour or so. sure i just ripped them out and i didnt break nor bend anything :fawk: . so i guess if it makes you feel like you are better then go ahead, either way you get the same result
