Dude, you don't know what I've tried so don't preach to me. :squint:

I've taken that molding off many MANY times and I see no need to rip anything off my car when there's a 'correct' way to do it. If you took your car to the dealership to replace one of those moldings would you want them ripping them off? Probably not.

I learned a long time ago that if you force something, it will bite you back.

this is jmo and the way I would do things. You can use a hammer for all I care. h:
