If you were using a 2000 ex ecu to run a 2001 GSR would it throw codes? Or what could you use to run a GSR swap taht wouldnt throw any codes besides the GSR ecu because it has the immobilizer on it. I need to pass emissions but right now im using a OBD1 GSR ecu and that wont pass because when they plug me in it doesnt respond. If i used a SI ecu or an LS ecu out of a 2000 or 2001 where it was OBD2b as well would i throw any codes? I only have a few more weeks before the deadline is up then i have to shell out major cash for a waiver. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly apprectiated. Thanks
