To all you guys with auto's that are having problems I just want to give you a bit of advise. If they are still covered under warranty then by all means goto Honda and have it fixed right away.

For the people that have problems and do not have warranty whatever you do DO NOT ! ! ! take it to an AAMCO or Dr.Nicks or any place that they rebuild transmissions. They will never be able to fix it correctly. The tranny in my old 89 Accord broke and I took it to an AAMCO and after getting it fixed (if thats what you can call it) it always slipped on me and after taking it back to them 6 times for repair (under their warranty) I got fed up and took it to another transmission shop. This was another horror story, after taking it to them 7 times I gave up and did a 5spd swap. So after all was said and done it cost me about $6,500.

You guys have 4 options:
1) Take the car to Level 10 and have them build your transmission (They do excellent work and it will take any abuse you give it)
2) Do a auto to manual swap (you guys with V6's are out of luck on this one)
3) Sell or Trade your car in for a new one
4) Take it to Honda and have them replace the transmission

If you feel that you can't part with your car I would go with anyone of the other suggestions. If you take your car to Honda even though it's out of warranty they replace (not rebuild) your tranny and they give you another 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on that tranny. It will cost you some cash but you will have peace of mind. For about the same money you can have Level 10 rebuild your tranny but for people that are far from New Jersey (I think there is also one on the west coast im not sure though) that will be kind of difficult for you to get done.

Well just some thoughts take them for what they're worth. I had to learn the hard way I hope you guys don't. I hope this helps some.

GoodLuck !
