Even if you were going 42 over, and your radar went off, there is no way in hell you'd have time to slow down enough to NOT get caught. A police officer has eyes, and if they SEE you going that fast, they don't need a radar detector to give you a wreckless driving ticket.

But depending on where, most parkways around here speed-limit is 50MPH here. On average, most cars do 75MPH. And no radar would really do much good if you're going that fast.
