Alright I am new here and I have a big problem. I have 98 Civic EX. The last 2 times I have changed my oil, the oil filter has been dry. It is brand new looking. No oil over the past 3K mi. has been in it at all. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if these cars have a top cylinder lubrication problem. I am an auto mecahnic and race cars (not Hondas, sorry) so I know how to build engines, etc. I certainly know how to change oil. But this has me baffled. It can't be a bad filter because it's over the last 2 times. Can anyone please HELP!!! We are a military family stationed in Germany. Thank you so much.
