the process you are talking about is called "raking",..yes it benefits RWDs more,..but it can also benefit FWD cars also,...by lifting the back end and lowering the front end,..it somewhat puts more weight to the front wheels,...and if you have tractioin problems like wheel hopping,...more weight to the front can help reduce that
