Default 7th gen transmission - "DO NOT USE"?

I changed my oil last night and noticed a white sticker on the bottom of my transmission. It's about 1.5" tall and 3" long and reads:

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||| (there's a barcode on the top)
BCLA-5061592
3RCLAA1
DUPLICATE
DO NOT USE

The "Do Not Use" part is what scares me. Is that a sticker indicating that the transmission should not have been used in a production car (maybe just a prototype used for fitting on the assembly line)?

Is there anywhere I can go to get more information about this? (such as a honda tech line)? I'd prefer to directly address this issue with Honda and avoid the dealer if possible. If this part should not have been used at the factory, then I think I deserve a new transmission. Seems like a big slip up by quality control.

I do notice that my transmission makes a high piched whine at around 68MPH (+/- 1 MPH) that goes away when I let off the gas. Anyone else experience this?
