Also it's funny you ask about the merkur. The one im using is actually and SVO turbo.
T3 60 trim, .60/.63 A/R
But I bought and still have my Merkur XR4Ti turbo that I was going to use but wanting even bigger yet 
They're basically identical except the exhaust on the Merkur is .48 which will spool quicker.

Holy crap you got lucky as hell, if you sucked that rag into the turbo you would've been SOL. I assume you mean the intake side of the turbo when you say intake compressor.
