people are interested in baseball when their team is doing well. to be honest, if the cubs weren't playing, i wouldn't be stuck to my TV watching every second of every game.

i guess this goes with all sports though. since the Bears are the worst team in the NFL right now, i tend not to watch as much football. people who like the Colts, Vikings, Broncos, and KC must love this sesason.

also, baseball is just fun to watch again
