Yeah man, it will look so much better if you paint it first. It did say don't use home ovens? Hmm. Well, you don't have to bake it, you can just let it sit for a couple days, in the sunlight as much as possible. The mistake I made was painting mine, then installing it 2hrs after the last coat went on:nono: I'm an impatient foo

Yeah, if you can paint the header/block, you can paint the tip. I haven't tried it but no way in the world does the exhaust tip get hotter than the header or block, and my painted header looks just fine months later.
