Back in the day, we had a brand new Chevrolet Caprice for our school's automotive shop. The car only had 17 miles on it; and was a donation from General Motors. Apparently the truck it was being transported on from the factory tipped while going around a curve too fast, and all the vehicles were damaged. The only damage to the Caprice ( I say 'only' like its minor damage- it wasn't) was crushed-in a, b and c pillars on the passenger side. The rest of the car was cherry. We stripped the car to the frame and it made an excellent learning tool... how some of the parts made it to my '88 Silverado, I have no idea... :naughty:
