It's a canister. I don't see why it would be any quieter than an A'PEXi N1, Tanabe RM, HKS Hiper, etc. Which is to say, too loud for a small displacement n/a four banger.

You want something that's full stainless and not too loud either get an RS*R Exmag or Tanabe Super Hyper Medallion. I like the SHM because it's not as close to stock as the Exmag.
