Has anyone seen or tried on the new Honda OEM oil filter. I have always changed the oil on my old 89 Accord and on my 99 with the oil filters from Honda.I have noticed on a few Honda part sites and was told by the dealer, that sometime between Aug and Sept, that Honda discontinued the old part number, for a new number and a smaller sized filter that is supposed to be more efficient. The parts guy told me it would fit, but the diameter of the filter seems a lot smaller than the old one and I don't want to ruin the engine if the filter is going to start leaking oil around the base of the filter during normal operation. Can someone shed some light on this...
