its not going to bend in your hands while its out of the car...but once its in there, and under load, its pretty damn easy to bend. My friend, who buys and sells cars on a frequent basis, often purchases cars that are DC Strut bar equipped. I've seen 4 of the many cars he goes through (2 EG's, 1 EK, 1 DB), that either had the bar already concave (1 of the EG's had it so bad, that the front upper bar was rubbing against parts of the intake manifold) from the load, or that were easily bent by doing a push-up on them.

Now FatBooty, I understand where you are coming from about the myth thing. Someone is going to read this post of mine, and claim they know it first hand or whatever else.
