An example of lyrical skill and savvy political wit- Jurassic Five- is IMO a perfect example of how the game is moving on, yet still within sight of it's roots. Music is an inherently chronological, generational and emotional entity. We seek artists that speak to us or connect with us in a very personal manner.
And today, In the crowded market rap has become, it gets more difficult to find new artists that fit what we -as consumers of a specific generation- are looking and listening for.
