I guess you would say iridium is the way to go then.

Denso certainly justifies the significant extra cost by claiming their iridium plug is better, but I have seen tests that indicate there is no difference (at least in racing applications, which mine is not). Anyway, I already snatched up the NGK IX deal off eBay; it has to be a great improvement over what I have now.
