Yup from PA. NEPA region (Wilkes Barre) runs autocrosses. Try http://www.autox4u.com

Also don't know how far you are from Harrisburg, but several guys from the Wilkes Barre region join us too. We have a double header this weekend. http://www.scca-susq.com

Also for road racing events that depends on what "road racing" you would like to do. Solo I requires a Nomex suit, gloves, shoes, SA helmet, 4 point cage, fire suppression system...

Track days are sort of like schools where they teach you racing lines, but don't need as much equipment until you get into the faster groups (expert and racing classes).
