It should be obvious I'm exaggerating. But seriously, with few exceptions, who else charges you $600 for "metallic paint" that come on 7 out of the 10 colors they offer? And usually as you move up in trim level more equipment and options become standard, but even a $34k 330i has sunroof, xenons, sport options, foglights, wood trim, etc... as options. I'm just pointing out that a "cheap" BMW has the potential to become very expensive very quickly when you start adding in options.
